  3 July, 2009 : - - Kiama, NSW -- Competition has been called off today at the NSW Open Surfmasters Titles due to a distinct lack of waves on the entire south coast of NSW. With offshore winds of up to 30 knots and an abating easterly swell, there was no other choice to call off the event for the day, as the Kiama and surrounding beaches resembled a lake.
